I love mother earth, the things that been created, the scene that happened in my surrounding.
I remember when I was young I used to see Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and questioning where is Goopy? Until, during my primary studying I really loved creating arts in terms of woodworks, metals and paint. Until I created the cartoon characters using metals from the can and aluminum the media is the one piece of nail and the hammer and finishing using the glossy paint.
The Fuji instamatic camera is the first buy and first touch I made. It has a rectangular shape with a green shutter release. First camera that I bought and enjoy whatever exposure it gives.
Journalism is the extra curricular that I took during my high school life. "The Courageous" is our school newspaper and my first assignment is the "Smokey Mountain" which is just a three kilometers from my school and our house. Smokey Mountain is the scavengers area means to say all the garbage from Manila was throw there.
The second touch I made was the Nikon F which my Uncle owned, he is a also furniture carpenter before here in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. I said it different a full manual and no flash to use. I'm also the one who destroyed it.
And my photography stopped, there's no money my parents cannot support for what hobby I used to be.
So where is the evidence of what I'm saying? Still some is with me; I collected it after the fire hit the house of my parent.
Year 2000 my mind set by Serg Alcabasa which I consider my friend he triggered my eagerness in the photography. Nikon F80 is the first DSLR I bought and now my real photography start. I like photojournalism approach and now creating some photographs which is whaht I want. It's an era of digital now it's make world small. I shoot film and digital now.

Biography:
Ferdinand Tiongson
November 9, 1965
Cavite, Philippines
My father was in a tailoring career for so many years. We got our living by his profession. He taught some of my uncles and cousins but not me. I wanted to take fine arts because of his career but I haven't been supported. Money was the main reason.
In the school year 1983 I entered the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila which taken the Civil Engineering Course one year studying in that school I quit. So the next year I stop the degree studying My uncle suggested to study Computer programming course like COBOL, Fortran, RPG and System Design Analysis because he said it's a demanding career so I finished it and didn't used in the job. So I decided to continue the degree course. Now decision will be for myself I took the course which I didn't know about it so Electronics and Communication Engineering is the answer. I finished it without any disturbances.
I graduated in year 1989 as BSECE so this is the start. For around 20 years I'm in the service, in the Electronics (PCB) Assembly. Twelve years from the past and up to now I have been work in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the same field were I work from Philippines.
I think I love and enjoy my career as of now and this is my bread and butter and maybe I already contributed a knowledge with I shared from Arab Country and Arab people.
My career and hobby is different, no one knows? If one day I wake up I'm in a different challenges of my life.
